This position is offered as a Fixed Term Contract for an initial period of 12 (TWELVE) months. There is potential to extend the Fixed Term to 18 (EIGHTEEN) months total, depending on client and business needs.
What You Will Do:
As a Managing Consultant / Program Manager with Guidehouse, you will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. As a Managing Consultant, you will be expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

As a Program Manager, responsibilities will include:
Review project governance materials and develop a clear understanding of transformation objectives, scope, forums, plans etc.
Develop and maintain a master project plan covering all streams, clearly setting out key focus areas, milestones, actions, responsibilities, timelines and any interdependencies.
Briefing with programme owner and introduction meetings with project team members and other key stakeholders.
Attend project leadership group and stream working group sessions, noting progress made, risks/issues and key forward looking actions.
Make recommendations to help ensure there is effective governance and administration across the transformation programme.
Develop and maintain resource plans and help coordinate the procurement/recruitment/redeployment of project resources.
Develop and maintain the project governance toolkit, materials and document repository (i.e. Compass Teams channel).
Work closely with the risk teams and workstream leads to maintain project risk log, develop mitigation strategies and monitor/report on mitigation effectiveness.
Work closely with the line of business commercial finance team to track/report budget status and benefit realisation across the programme.
Support the programme owner and workstream stream leads with stakeholder engagement and project communications.
Organise project forums including leadership steering group and stream working group meetings. Provide meeting and administration support as required.
Contribute to the strategic and operational transformation agenda, including sharing insights/experience and providing appropriate challenge to help ensure project success.
Support stream working groups with execution activities as appropriate (depending on broader transformation experience / skill sets)
What You Will Need:
5+ years of experience in management consulting and/or project management experience on a financial or technology-oriented engagement
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Project
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Critical thinker with a strong eye for detail and creative in problem solving
Team player who demonstrates the willingness and ability to effectively work with and manage teams
What Would Be Nice to Have:
Certifications including a PMP and/or CCMP
Experience with Dashboards and PowerBI
Degree in a field related to Business or Finance
Experience in Corporate Trust
Experience with vendor management
