Are you interested in using your skills to help shape the Cyber, Security, & Intel space?  If so, look no further. Amentum is seeking a Program Manager to join our team of passionate individuals in Washington, DC. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.

You will be contributing to our national security mission by supporting the development, evaluation and integration of the Navy/Marine Corps fleet implementation of General-Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) to meet the current and future equipment performance monitoring requirements for shipboard prime electronic systems.

This position with the Gpete Group is a substantial multivendor demonstration set, designated as the Dynamic Spectrum Sharing Demonstration, and is currently in the process of being awarded. This endeavor will necessitate each company to undertake the development of technologies that will be showcased in two distinct phases. The initial phase, spanning approximately seven months, will culminate in a demonstration of partial capabilities at either a government or contractor facility. Subsequently, a potential down-selection may occur, resulting in the advancement of only the most promising technologies to the second phase. The second phase, with a duration of roughly eight months, will culminate in a demonstration at a government facility, which is anticipated to be either the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Chesapeake Beach Detachment or the NASA Wallops Island facility. Notably, NRL maintains a presence in both locations and operates FLEXDAR radars at both facilities.

Responsibilities\:

General Program Management responsibilities as directed by your NRL Technical lead. Program management and contract management support are essential to facilitate the Government staff’s execution of contracts and attainment of demonstrations. A single program manager will oversee the contractual execution details of each vendor’s agreements, supported by two Agreement Officer Representatives (AORs). Furthermore, a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will provide consultative assistance to the program manager and AORs. Additionally, program support is required to provide management assistance to meet the demands of oversight organizations.

The program support team will aid the AORs in organizing and clarifying requirements, scheduling, deliverables, tracking expenditures, and action items for each contract. Additionally, they will support the Government staff in responding to requests for information from vendors. The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the efficient administration of contracts by the Government personnel.

The program management support role will consist of preparing summaries, presentations, quad charts and other materials in a consistent format for the review by the program manager and additionally for submission to oversight organizations such as OSD COI, OSD (R&E), OPNAV, NTIA and others. Additionally, some of the information may need to be reformatted for the organization with various additions and subtractions. Special reports on an ad hoc basis may be required in response to program oversight requests.

Program management support shall also consist of working with the government team that will be involved in the development of test plans, scheduling facilities and resources and assisting the program manager in organizing and scheduling contract related meetings, events, and testing activities.

The position is anticipated to be roughly 15 months or more. Extensions of the position may be possible based on the outcome and success of the 15-month demonstrations and have longer duration implications if Mobile Network Operator acceptance is achieved and a scale effort is desired to provide additional information for scaling the concept.
