Job Summary
The Senior Director I serves as the overall leader for contract execution, overseeing personnel management, technical operations, and total task order (TO) performance. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery across all aspects of the contract, including business processes and technical outcomes as well as optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide overarching leadership and guidance to all contractor personnel assigned to the TOAssign tasks, supervise ongoing technical work, and optimize resource and subcontractor utilization.Coordinate and collaborate on all tasks, activities, requirements, and issues related to Customer support; maintain proactive, transparent communication to effectively manage Customer expectations.Serve as the primary point of contact for formal Customer discussions, fostering high satisfaction and ongoing improvement.Monitor program cost, performance, quality, schedule, and risk; adapt plans based on Customer feedback.Develop and maintain project schedules and documentation that reflect implementation of key requirements.Apply established program management procedures to track cost, schedule, inventory, and performance.Analyze variances and implement corrective actions to maintain program targets.Interpret contract requirements from the designated management tool and assign qualified, cleared personnel.Identify and mitigate potential downstream issues that may impact program objectives.Ensure continuity of operations during personnel transitions; approve staffing alignments and resource allocations.Lead the execution of the Transition Plan and the implementation of the Program Management Plan (PMP).Oversee budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and overall operational expenditures.Coordinate work priorities and continuously monitor processes, procedures, and program implementation.Drive improvements in cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.Oversee quality control, contract compliance, and inspection of maintenance and service operations.Review and validate accuracy of management and contract reports prior to submission.Cultivate strategic relationships with external agencies and stakeholders, promoting interagency collaboration and resource sharing that expands mission capabilities and cost-effectiveness.Duties and Responsibilities:

A master’s degree in related business or technical discipline.Possess an active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional certification or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP®) certificationMinimum of five years’ experience managing and coordinating a DoD acquisition of similar scope and complexity within the last five years.Minimum of five years’ experience in managing strategic outreach efforts to external Government agencies, programs, and resources that can enhance the program.Possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance; must be SCI eligible.Willingness to travel domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS) as needed.Preferred Qualifications:
