Trane is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as a Program manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex New Product Development (NPD), Productivity, Ready to serve, Quality and reliability and Technology projects. This dynamic position provides the chance to collaborate with diverse regional teams and present innovative solutions to business leaders, ensuring alignment with the company's sustainability initiatives. Where is the work:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work based out of Bangalore schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What will you do:
In this role you will:
· Fulfill the role of the Program Manager and all that it entails.
· Understand project requirements, collaborate with project owners, leaders & cross functional teams across the globe for delivery of projects, by adhering to standard processes, systems and project management principles.
· Ensure the completion of project milestones/deliverables within committed Quality (Q), Delivery (D), Project cost (C) & Product cost (C), track performance and progress of project against committed QDC targets
· Report out project updates, risks and mitigations, productivity updates, QDC metrics, deployment efficiency, timesheet data, during the monthly Operations review meeting with ETC leadership team
· Project management of Strategic organization initiatives aligned with futuristics skills such as AI driven Project management and Predictive modeling, Data science analysis, sustainability initiatives
· Manage ETC PPM project portfolio / Project agreements of respective teams and publish the monthly billing data for the respective teams
· Lead/Assist Annual Operating Planning (AOP) discussions with respective SBUs/NOEs and corporate teams
· Collaborate with PMO team members to continuously improve process, systems and develop/refine standard works
What you will bring:
· Expertise in Project Management (Waterfall Model)
· Experience in leading New Product development (NPD)
Ability to manage program finances and ensure cost-effectiveness· Develops and manages projects budget, schedule & timeline and ability to drive program specific goals and actions to closure.
· Ownership mindset to foster culture of ownership and accountability
· Leads from the front, coaches project team members, takes initiative and implement changes.
· Being bold and Courageous to raise issues to upper management
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and understand the impact of a project to the overall business· Effective communication and presentation skills, along with a self-starter mindset. Ability to learn and collaborate with cross cultural project teams
· Manages & resolve conflicts, Good Interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in MS project to develop schedule, manage resources and budget and tracking project progress.
· You are a Mechanical Engineer or Electrical and Electronics Engineer with 12+ years of overall industry experience.
· You are a PMI-PMP® certified project management professional with 8+ yrs. of Project management experience.
