Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is for Design Program Management for Transmission Transceivers new PIP development products, starting from PIP1 development and for coordination the product through to mass production handover PM responsibilities include full schedule definition for project, coordinating product and program cost analysis and tracking, and supporting core team meeting and cross functional requirements Secondary responsibility for supporting SharePoint site and sub-sites for the organization, and enhancing use of SharePoint to support the product development activities

Education & Experience

MS/MBA or equivalent degree. 1-5 years’ program management experience Experience in an organization developing high-tech electronic devices with embedded firmware a plus

Skills

Project Management knowledge and experience needed PMP certification a plus Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Project experience required Experience with SharePoint and some SharePoint site ownership / administration is a major advantage Strong Jira knowledge and experience is a plus Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills. Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. required

Working Conditions

This position is hybrid  May require occasional off-site meetings or travel Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs

Physical Requirements

Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings. Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
