Shift : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The role you’ll contribute: The Program Manager is responsible for applying professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead programs and project teams aligned to a subset of organizational goals (typically within one business area). Ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects to the program and manages stakeholder identification and satisfaction, program and project definition, cross project interdependencies identification, cross program and project related risk management, and ongoing monitoring and control. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Partners with the business to drive delivery of a large program consisting of multiple projects to meet the strategic goals and objectives.

Program Planning – plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization and the team that they support. Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program. May participate in the strategic planning, annual budget and operating plan related to the programs assigned.

Program Execution – Leads the delivery of program objectives. Maintains program schedule, target dates and critical path. Delivers successful programs and projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner as shown by project statistics. Develops and manages a program change control process as needed to ensure project teams operate within the scope and change approval process. Directs program staff by providing input and feedback. Tracks progress and reviews program activities to make certain benefits and deadlines are met appropriately. Proactively assesses program risk and issues and identifies solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals.

Program Communications – Ensures all program stakeholders receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards. Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program. Liaises with other managers to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery. Conducts regular program status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder's needs and requirements continuously in view. Creates program presentations and reports for executive leadership, program sponsors, and stakeholders. Presents program status and issues to leadership level personnel through formal presentations. Proactively communicates program status, issues, and risks to management.

Risk Management - Successfully assesses program and project risks and formulates mitigation plans, successfully develops and updates project budgets as required. Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and takes appropriate action to control the risks.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

Bachelors degree

Has conceptual familiarity with project management tools & methodologies.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to identify root cause and resolve issues.

Experience managing large-scale cross functional projects/programs with project durations of a year or longer.

Experience managing programs implementing solutions often requiring vendor and/or contract support, systems integration, platform upgrades, business process updates and multiple business unit requirement
