PROGRAM MANAGER
Summary You will serve as F-35 Deputy Support Equipment Program Officer (SEPO) in the F-35 SE Branch within the PEO (U&W/JSF) SE DIV / SE DEPT of NAWCAD Lakehurst. The F-35 SE program is supported by a multi-functional team of experts directly supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office, DoD Services, Partner Nations, and FMS Customers by delivering quality conforming SE products/services within affordability and schedule objectives to execute critical acquisition and sustainment programs. Responsibilities You will provide program management and team leadership to deliver affordable and effective F-35 SE solutions, with a focus on International Partner Nations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. You will assist the senior F-35 SE program manager with planning, budgeting, and execution of the F-35 SE acquisition and sustainment portfolio within C/S/P objectives. You will forecast and plan requirements and resources to execute program objectives. You will formulate and collaborate on approaches to resolve a variety of complex program challenges. You will recommend strategies concerning program direction, resources, policies, and schedules. You will manage and communicate program status to customers, sponsors, and higher management. You will interface with stakeholders from F-35 Joint Program Office, DoD Services, Partner Nations, FMS customers, Industry, site activation representatives, and other agencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading and managing projects and associated cost-schedule-performance efforts for assigned programs; 2) Planning, budgeting, and executing the acquisition and life cycle management of Support Equipment and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts under the direction of a senior program manager; 3) Leading multi-disciplined, cross-site teams whose responsibilities include planning and execution of Support Equipment acquisition, fielding, and sustainment; 4) Making program recommendations concerning program direction, resources, policies and schedules; and 5) Coordinating and interfacing with appropriate Program Offices, Commands, senior fleet representatives, government stakeholders, and contractors to ensure program execution.
