You Are:
The successful technical program manager candidate will be expected to work closely with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to capture requirements, develop schedules, manage risks, drive execution, and ultimately deliver value to our internal and external customers.
The opportunity:
· Communicate proactively across teams to create and maintain alignment among stakeholders
· Adopt and seek to improve department program management philosophies and processes
· Recognize risks / blockers and work aggressively to engage with the right partners to identify solutions or workarounds
· Provide regular status reports to promote program clarity and transparency at various levels within the organization, including among senior leaders
· Work hard to build and maintain relationships among our partners and internal customers in service of an ongoing effort to achieve the best possible outcomes for all involved parties
· Develop, socialize, and manage project plans and team roadmaps
· Help to foster a customer-first, outcome-oriented culture of collaboration and open knowledge transfer
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
· 5-8 years of program management experience in cloud computing or related fields
· PMI PMP certification or commensurate enterprise program management experience
· Experience with Agile development: Scrum or other iterative development methodologies
· An eagerness and tenacity to influence others to achieve goals and perform at a high level
· Confidence to tackle the unknown, challenge assertions, mediate disputes, hold stakeholders accountable, and manage leadership / customer expectations proactively
· Ability to deftly shift focus as objectives and priorities change, including realigning program teams accordingly
· Strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple complex activities
· Proficient at breaking down complex problems into manageable, delegable components
· Proven ability to manage initiatives across geographically distributed teams
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with JIRA (or similar project management tools), including projects and roadmaps
· Experience with ServiceNow (or similar ITSM suite)
· High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
· ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
· Data and analytical experience a plus, including data visualization skills
· Prior experience as a developer, SRE, or DevOps engineer is plus
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: California
Compensation Range: $84,000-$126,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
