Work Experience
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work breakdown structure, budget, and timing for new initiativesManage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiativesIdentify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendorsDevelop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectivesWork with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the departmentAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholdersManaging the program’s budget; Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements; Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies; Managing and utilizing resources across projects;Managing stakeholders’ communication; Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager; and Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.Champion innovative approaches that could delivery productivity savings and/or competitive advantageWork Experience
The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program within Aeroengines industry;Ability to work proactively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;Strong leadership and management skills;Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; andThe ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
Work Experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business10+ years in a programme management role (preference given to those with PMP or equivalent certification) within Aerospace industryExceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of implementation on new technologyOutstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processesKey Interpersonal Competencies
Good Communication & Interpersonal skillsCustomer FocusOrganizational AgilityProblem solving ability (e.g. 8D)Ability to build and develop Customer & Supplier relationshipsEffective Time management Result driven
