Program Manager

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for helping product and engineering teams optimize delivery for our customers. You will help teams identify and drive toward key outcomes and metrics that will continuously improve our capabilities toward an optimized DevOps culture. You will be an agent of change across product, engineering, and our key stakeholders. You will help establish new frameworks for how we work, planning the projects within your product portfolio and overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of those projects. This work includes leading the development of project delivery plans/scenarios, monitoring and reporting on the program’s status, tracking dependencies, and facilitating tradeoff and prioritization conversations with cross functional teams. You will also directly project manage the delivery of selected projects within your product portfolio. In this role, you will get to work with a team of Product Managers who will be based in India and globally, who are responsible for the lifecycle management of our products and solutions. You’ll be a part of mentoring, coaching, and supporting a talented and passionate group. You will be accountable for achieving target results across your program’s scope. To be successful, you’ll need to collaborate with external stakeholders and Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Implementation, and Account Management teams. The right candidate needs to be adept and effective at cross functional communication and coordination. You will need to be comfortable operating at both the strategic level (e.g. process improvement; long-term planning; etc.) and at the tactical level (e.g. resolving client issues). Job Responsibilities: -Own the Jira strategy, administration, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring streamlined workfl ows, reporting accuracy, and optimized usage across product and engineering teams. -Analyze sprint and velocity metrics to derive insights, identify trends, and recommend agile best practices to improve team performance and delivery predictability. -Collaborate with engineering leads to implement dev effi ciency metrics (e.g., sprint, DORA) and practices that support continuous improvement. -Drive product and engineering analytics, building dashboards and providing actionable insights on team performance, roadmap progress, and delivery health. -Support program and project management activities across cross-functional teams, including planning, coordination, tracking, and stakeholder communication. -Translate complex data into clear, concise business insights to guide strategic and operational decisions. What you bring to UST: -2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Program Analyst, Technical Program Manager, or similar role in a tech environment. -Strong comfort with data tools and analytics (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Jira, or similar platforms). -Experience with Agile methodologies, possibly including time as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator. Engineering/technical management experience is a plus. -Proven project and program management capabilities, with attention to detail and organizational skills. -Analytical mindset with the ability to uncover trends, propose improvements, and communicate findings clearly. Bonus Points: -Be passionate about energy consumption and making a diff erence in the world. -Prior experience working at a high growth software company in the energy or utility space. -Prior experience in organization optimization and change management by utilizing data-driven decisions and design. Qualifications: -Technical and/or management education, PG preferable, not mandatory.
