Job Duties: Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product, involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget. Monitor project(s) from initiation through delivery. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. May consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout U.S. Role requires 15-20% travel throughout the U.S for business engagements and/or projects. May telecommute. (385.34164)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-related occupation.

 

*In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience.

 

Position requires:

 

1.           Coordinate and lead sophisticated technical engineering-to-engineering design discussions related to AI datacenter system design, development, system management, and/or High-performance compute workloads;

2.           Previous experience working with complex system hardware and software, including but not limited to GPUs, High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, Big Data frameworks, Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), or AL/ML-specific hardware for datacenter infrastructure;

3.           Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI/GPU site due diligence requirements and High-Performance Computing (HPC) deployment at Colo leased sites, including new build and augmentations;

4.           Lead technical program management of next-generation Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) platform(s) for Network Infrastructure in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (Data Center, Network, Hardware Systems, Infrastructure Engineering, Software Engineering, Capacity Management) and across multiple physical locations;

5.           Facilitate alignment on large-scale deployment strategies with partner teams, and ensure production readiness by addressing integration requirements, financial planning, supply chain management, and operational preparedness;

6.           Managing the implementation of new hardware and software applications within unique data center, colocation, and leased data center environments across the globe;

7.           Gathering requirements and customer inputs, design, engineering, implementation, and optimization;

8.           Project management, including managing, planning, organizing, scheduling, and tracking of projects from initiation, planning, execution, and delivery; and,

9.           Building cross-functional relationships and consensus, and removing roadblocks, and communicating with stakeholders across different teams and locations.
