The Machine Learning (ML) Supply Chain Operations team's mission is to deliver ML capacity predictably and at scale. We manage the planning and deployment process for ML hardware, both in the new product introduction phase and in production in Google's data centers. The Technical infrastructure Deployment Engineering ML (TIDE-ML) team is responsible for orchestration of NPI deployments and the required processes, policies, and infrastructure/networking dependencies to introduce our Machine Learning products to the world. In this role, you will lead deployment of new ML product introductions from concept to production. You will maximize the impact and efficiency of NPIs to data centers within the ML space. You'll navigate among highly interdependent and conflicting requirements and objectives across a wide range of cross-functional organizations, providing the judgment and leadership that results in optimal outcomes for Google and its users. You're comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
