Job Title: Program Manager, Media Strategy & Growth

Compensation: $74+ Depending on Experience
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid (In Office Tues, Wedn, Thur)
Hours: 8:30-4:30, Mon-Fri (Flexible)
Description:
Serve as a media subject matter expert and thought leader within the marketing team
Lead paid media strategy for a key brand, including full-funnel planning across paid search, social media, and connected TV (CTV)
Oversee day-to-day execution of media campaigns and ensure alignment with broader brand and business goals
Support development and refinement of media plans based on performance data and business needs
Build and deliver clear media performance reports and communicate results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Provide insights to guide paid media budget allocation and planning
Support ad operations tasks, including promo code management, pixel/tag placement, order approvals, and product shipments to partners
Act as a system administrator for advertising platforms such as Meta Business Manager, Google Merchant Center, TikTok Seller Central, etc.
Collaborate with and support two junior team members, ensuring projects remain on track
Partner closely with internal teams and external media agencies to ensure campaign success
Participate in ongoing testing and learning to improve media strategy and execution across channels
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required
5–7 years of experience in media marketing or growth marketing
Strong understanding of full-funnel media strategy, including upper-funnel awareness tactics and media performance optimization
Hands-on experience with:
Google Ads (Search and Video)
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
TikTok
Snapchat (test-and-learn approach)
Broad channel exposure with the ability to lead strategy, even if not deeply active in all channels
Comfortable running or contributing to test-and-learn media experiments
Background in beauty, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related industries preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Power BI experience is a plus
Experience managing agencies or external partners
Ability to interpret performance data and present actionable insights
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable mentoring junior team members (no direct supervision)
