Program Manager, Mapping

Lyft is looking for an experienced candidate to join our Mapping Organization as a Project Manager. We are looking for a project manager that has experience with defining and driving clear process, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders to drive forward a best in class product & platform.

The Mapping organization is responsible for helping our Riders and Drivers connect in the real world safely, navigate to their destination with confidence, and with guidance around unforeseen circumstances. We accomplish that by building products and capabilities on our platform for representing the real world in digital form, building models and services for routing & navigation, end user experiences for Drivers and Riders, and tooling for other organizations within Lyft. We help advance Lyft’s overall mission and strategy to serve and connect with our offerings and by collaborating closely with other product teams across the company that leverage our capabilities. We are looking for an equally driven team member who can help bring our team members together, drive projects forward and accelerate our ability to deliver value to customers. 

Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of the needs of the organizations & their priorities. Plan and drive implementation of new programs, processes, and systems to improve execution and productivity across teams Strengthen the partnership with leaders and stakeholders across the company  Manage roadmaps, dependencies, and launch timelines across several teams & roles Hold stakeholders accountable for deadlines, deliverables, and updates. Maintain a consistent communication strategy for informing execs, leadership, teams & stakeholders of progress, and roadblocks (with actions) Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Project Management or Business Analyst experience Strong systems thinker with exceptional organizational / project management skills Successful track record effortlessly managing multiple, concurrent, high visibility initiatives Concise, direct, clear communicator with a proven ability to navigate difficult messages, eliminate ambiguity, and tactfully drive accountability  Ability to think both tactically and strategically, and drive complex conversations that result in actionable insights Passion for Lyft, the ride-sharing community, and a drive to make a meaningful impact Ability to dive deeply into a problem and quickly assess risks and dependencies Bonus: Knowledge of and passion for the Mapping, Geospatial, End User Experience and Platform spaces. Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $84,000 - $105,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
