Maintenance Centralized Services (MCS) is seeking an experienced Estimates Manager to lead and oversee complex repair estimations for our middle mile fleet operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of estimators, developing estimation strategies, and making critical decisions on low and high-value repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment that connects Amazon's Middle Mile network across North America. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling repairs exceeding $30,000 and possess the skills to optimize repair costs, minimize vehicle downtime, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Amazon's safety standards. The Estimates Manager will lead and develop a team of estimators specializing in complex repairs which can exceed $30,000 for heavy-duty trucks and trailers, while developing and implementing estimation strategies to optimize repair costs and minimize vehicle downtime. This role will oversee catastrophic damage assessments and make final repair vs. replace decisions, managing relationships with third-party vendors, OEM dealers, and other providers. The manager will establish and maintain KPIs for the estimation team, ensuring high-quality, timely estimates, while driving continuous improvement in estimation processes and tools. Collaboration with fleet operations, finance, and procurement teams to align on repair strategies is essential, as is providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on high-value repair trends and cost analysis. The role requires ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and Amazon's safety standards throughout all estimation and repair processes.

You'll likely spend time analyzing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and fleet performance trends. Meetings with stakeholders from operations, finance, and procurement teams will occupy part of your schedule, where you'll discuss repair strategies and budget alignments.
