Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Barry Callebaut’s regional HQ in Chicago, IL. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead multiple, high priority cross-functional projects that will enable the continued growth of the North America region. The PM will be responsible for guiding a team in the planning and delivery of commercially focused projects to deliver value to BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional team leadership but rooted in analytical and critical thinking. The Program Manager will serve as an internal leader and single point of accountability for cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and expected outcomes.
Ideally, the candidate will have had exposure to Food & Beverage manufacturing. Have experience working in a matrixed and global organization, and be able to conduct quick financial analysis related to the project. Background in Finance, Strategy a plus.
Main Responsibilities & Scope
Define and oversee program scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals. Develop program roadmaps, schedules, and budgets; manage resource allocation. Coordinate and track the progress of related projects and ensure alignment with program goals. Lead regular cross-functional meetings and status updates with stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage program changes. Coordinates with the NALT and/or escalates to the functional areas, the troubleshooting of on time delivery of the project. Coordinates with the NALT the actions necessary to drive progress on program/projects. Monitor program performance and ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, reports, and dashboards. Support development of project management and change management capability within BC NA, including contributing and demonstrating best practice approaches, project governance frameworks and processes and toolkits which will be applied throughout the organization.

Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in project or program management. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks. Experience in strategic / management consulting strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading teams to execute highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale and risk in CPG. Demonstrated knowledge of program management, change management and strategic capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and apply strategic frameworks to drive alignment and decision-making. Financial acumen to shape and drive program performance management. Enterprise thinker with ability to ‘connect the dots.’ Excellent time management, planning, project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and make ongoing decisions with key stakeholder input. Excellent communication skills, including ability to share ideas and information across diverse audiences to drive to business decisions. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex. High emotional intelligence/IQ and strong relationship management skills. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape, elevate and move planning forward. PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus.
