The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation. We are looking for a Program Manager to support the growing operational needs of the engineering and leadership teams at Lingo, based in Alameda, CA (San Francisco Bay Area)—our product headquarters. This role combines high-level administrative support with program delivery oversight and process improvement. You will work closely with senior leaders to coordinate strategic initiatives, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure efficient execution of day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, well-organized, proactive, and thrives in fast-moving environments with complex priorities. 

What You’ll Work On

Executive & Operational Support 

Provide direct administrative support to senior engineering leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation 

Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and professional correspondence 

Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate progress and performance 

Program & Project Operations 

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, track milestones, and ensure timely execution of strategic projects 

Manage project timelines, resources, documentation, and status reporting across multiple efforts 

Partner with finance and operations teams to support budget tracking, vendor coordination, and resource planning 

Ensure projects meet business goals, stakeholder expectations, and organizational standards 

Process & Communication Improvement 

Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and improved team workflows 

Maintain project documentation, communication plans, and centralized records for team visibility and transparency 

Serve as a liaison between engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress 

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, project operations, or executive-level administrative roles 

Experience supporting senior leadership—preferably in a technical, engineering, or product-driven environment 

Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and basic project lifecycle concepts 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and senior audiences 

Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities with a meticulous attention to detail 

High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration/project tools such as Google Workspace, Confluence, or Notion 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in a fast-paced tech company or startup environment 

Exposure to budget tracking, procurement processes, or vendor management 

Familiarity with tools like Jira or Monday.com 

Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset 

Ability to contribute to strategic planning and think beyond immediate execution

The base pay for this position is $98,000.00 – $196,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
