Job Description
As a Program Manager you will manage the delivery of software engineering projects and programs. You will partner with engineering, product, and internal business teams to ensure understanding of priorities, execution visibility, project delivery, and achievement of targeted outcomes. You will manage program statuses, financial forecasts, risk tracking, team member communications, and ensure process compliance.
You will report to the Manager, Program Management (U.S. based) and follow a hybrid working schedule in Pune, India.
Your Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and PlanningDefine and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software programs.Lead program-level planning and prioritization in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.Collaborative ExecutionCoordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members.Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking.Ensure cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the program lifecycleDelivery ManagementMonitor and report on project and program progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Promote delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes.Resolve delivery blockers, manage interdependencies, and escalate.Team member CommunicationPromote communication between engineering, product, and team members.Provide detailed updates on status, risks, and program decisions to all levels, including executives.Align all team members around important outcomes and delivery expectations.Risk and Issue ManagementManage project and program issues.Maintain risk mitigation plans and contingency strategiesThe Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field required.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
5+ years of experience in program or project management in software engineering or related technical fieldExperience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similarRelevant certifications such as, PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.What We Offer:
