What is the opportunity?

The Operations Associate fills a critical role for the entire WM Program Management group by assisting the Head of the group and the Directors of the Programs in running and maintaining a strong, cohesive team of individuals that service, support and drive the fee-based programs for RBC Dominion Securities.

What will you do?

You will assist in reporting and maintaining monthly and quarterly business metrics that serve to assist leaders in making strategic decisions regarding the fee-based platform.

You will assist the Head of the group in a number of administration activities regarding team events, conferences, and meetings. 

There will be a component of the role that will also help to drive growth in fee-based strategies by servicing the Advisors, Associates and Branches with any inquiries regarding the fee-based programs.  This may also encompass triaging inquiries to the appropriate teams within the group.

You will also collaborate with various organizational groups internally and externally to ensure relationships are established and maintained to protect and grow the fee-based programs.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

University degree or equivalent experience

Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong self-directed team player with a bias for action and ability to have strategic influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills

Excellent experience in project management and ability to deal with multiple competing priorities

Bias for action, execution and results

Nice-to-have:

Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC)

Bilingual in English and French
