Program Director/Addiction Treatment Program (CV1247-1) - Reentry Services Division We want to hire a Program Director to join our highly dynamic and growing Addiction Treatment Program. The successful candidate shall report to the VP of Re-Entry Services and lead the Treatment Team. RESPONSIBILITIES are managerial in function including: + The coordination of supervision, training, and supporting the staff delivering treatment-related services to all clients entering the programs + Developing and/or implementing in-service training component and staff development programs + Maintaining relevant statistical information as required by the supervisor for research and development + Provide support to program staff to ensure clients receive appropriate services based on assessed need REQUIREMENTS: + Master's degree in a human services related field AND two years of transferable full-time experience in an administrative OR supervisory role in a substance abuse treatment facility + OR a Bachelor's degree AND five years of and full-time experience in an administrative or supervisory role in a substance abuse treatment facility + Bi-lingual verbal and written ability helpful but not required. + A valid driver's license and be able to meet Volunteers of America Delaware Valley driver standards + Have a thorough working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation. + Willing to work flexible hours, which may include some weekends and evenings + Must be able to pass criminal background clearance from the funding source and a pre-employment drug screening and physical + Basic computer experience EEO of "Individuals with Disabilities" and "Veteran Status"/AA
