Job Summary:
The Program Director, under the direct supervision of the Vice President, establishes and drives a positive culture ensuring clients, referral sources, stakeholders, and team members are treated with dignity and respect. The incumbent maintains compliant and quality services within a designated business unit by executing and monitoring quality assurance procedures while performing essential job duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for overall fiscal results and compliance for assigned business unit, including identifying new funding sources and expanding/enhancing current services
• Assist with grant management and ensure invoicing is timely and accurate
• Track and meet key performance indicators and ensure timely variance reporting
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including targeted case management groups, regional Department of Mental Health offices, Vocational Rehabilitation facilities, and all referral/funding partners
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations based on accreditation standards, state guidelines, state licensure, funding/referral sources, and system requirements
• Perform management responsibilities including hiring, termination, coaching, development, performance management, and productivity oversight
• Manage, review, and support ongoing quality management processes throughout the business unit
• Complete quality management file reviews and field observations of team members
• Ensure databases and electronic medical records are used as designed and reflect accurate service documentation
• Work direct care shifts as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience in a healthcare system or five years of behavioral healthcare experience required
• Behavioral healthcare experience in a similar role preferred
• Master’s degree preferred

Additional Qualifications:
• Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
• Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
• Completion of all training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance

Physical Requirements:
ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
