Role Overview:
Each state is required to have a Parent Locate unit to locate absent parents so paternity and child support orders can be established and enforced. This involves working with the local child support offices and other state and federal agencies. The unit assists with working reports so undistributed child support collections are timely distributed. Also, the unit assists with working on other reports to enhance the data of the system so collection processes are able to work appropriately for the collection of unpaid support.
Projects may include:
+ Processing incoming BMV titles
+ Processing other agency titles
+ Releasing Vehicle Liens
+ Pulling and sending out weekly released titles
+ Taking lien/title phone calls
+ Completing lien/title inbox requests
+ Completing locate requests
+ Correcting Duplicate MPI's
+ Researching daily returned warrants
+ Working returned mail
+ Working data integrity reports
This position is in the DCS offices in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $34,216 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:
+ Answer phones, address caller issues, update critical employee and company data, and provide lump sum totals.
+ Respond to emails and facsimiles for the helpdesk.
+ Research the Indiana Support Enforcement Tracking System (ISETS), resource programs, and the Internet to update employer information.
+ Phone, email, or correspondence to obtain verified data.
+ Respond to requests from county prosecutors to add, update, or delete employer information.
+ Train employers and county caseworkers on policy and procedures.
+ Review reports to identify employers, change addresses for employers and participants, or update critical employee data.
+ Review and update data reports to ensure accurate employer data.

What You'll Need for Success:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Excellent work attendance record.
+ Hard working and capable of producing a large quantity of work.
+ Ability to keep work confidential.
+ Knowledge of basic personal computer operations and Microsoft Office products.
+ Proficient in keyboarding.
+ Work independently and portray a professional image
+ Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
+ Ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
+ Flexibility and a team player.
+ Provide excellent internal and external customer service skills with the ability to listen and communicate effectively.
+ Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
