Job Title: Program Coordinator, Veterans Services

Job Summary: 
Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a Program Coordinator for the Veteran Service Line, where you will play a vital role in connecting veterans to essential mental health care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served our country. You will be responsible for developing and overseeing both clinical and non-clinical services, ensuring that veterans receive the support they need. We are looking for someone who is passionate about community engagement, has strong organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. Your leadership will help foster partnerships that enhance the well-being of our veterans. 

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the program, oversee finances, and ensure compliance with grant requirements. You will actively build and maintain community partnerships, collaborating with veteran-serving organizations to strengthen referral pathways and support comprehensive care for veterans.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring effective oversight of program finances and resource allocation. 
• Direct program operations in accordance with related grant funding and requirements. 
• Actively build and maintain community partnerships, collaborating with veteran-serving organizations to enhance referral pathways. 
• Ensure compliance with the System’s Policies and Procedures, maintaining confidentiality of Protected Health Information as directed in HIPAA training. 
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for authorized services and support. 
• Supervise and evaluate team members, providing guidance and support as needed. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: 
• Veteran preferred. 
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. 
• Relevant experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities may be substituted year for year for a degree. 

 

 

Additional Qualifications: 
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. 
• Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check. 
• Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment. 
• All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter. 

 

 

Physical Requirements: 
• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift. 
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
