The Program Control Analyst provides financial and programmatic support to complex projects by delivering timely, accurate, and relevant financial data. This role collaborates with department leadership and may mentor junior analysts. Key responsibilities include preparing billing data, budget planning and analysis, cost and pricing support, and reporting on financial performance. The analyst ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, and GAAP, supports EVMS activities, and contributes to proposal development and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review billing data and purchase requisitions
Maintain and track budgets in financial systems
Generate internal and external cost/schedule and variance reports
Perform Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) analyses
Support pricing volumes and cost proposals in compliance with government regulations
Provide metrics, KPIs, and ad hoc financial analysis
Assist with audits, EVMS updates, and training team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance; audit experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong understanding of accounting principles and government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS, GAAP)
Excellent communication and analytical skills
