(100% REMOTE - EST) Program Control Analyst

Job Description

This role involves supporting a program on the All Domain Operations team with a focus on closing out schedule surges. The engagement will utilize Deltek Costpoint ERP and OneStream for forecasting and is initially expected to last 3-4 months, with a possibility of extension. You will provide essential revenue and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to Program Managers.

ResponsibilitiesLead project setup in compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and requirements.Prepare program financial Estimates at Complete (EACs) and meet corporate submission deadlines.Identify project financial risks and opportunities, offering analytical contributions to resolve issues with PM, Contracts, Procurement, and Accounting.Review and assess contract modifications, advising the program management team of financial impacts as necessary.Monitor costs and manpower monthly, ensuring actuals stay within budget and are charged to the correct job codes.Conduct analytical reviews and arithmetic checks of cost reporting documentation.Prepare accurate and complete actual vs forecast/plan variance analysis and reporting.Support Ops Review presentations for management.Prepare financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by PMO and others.Monitor funding status, providing timely notifications of funding status by line item detail as required.Support accounts receivable during billing processing.Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.Ensure program revenue and profit are recorded in compliance with the EAC.Analyze profit risks and opportunities, advising management on the optimal path forward.Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley, FAR, and all company policies regarding contract performance and financials.Essential Skills3+ years of government contracting program finance experience, preferably with closeouts.Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP functions.Experience in fostering strong relationships and communication with Program Managers.Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint and OneStream.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with close out schedules.Knowledge of financial planning and analysis.Capability to support a large, growing defense contractor.Work Environment

The position is fully remote with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment is conducive to maintaining a work-life balance while supporting a large defense contractor.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
