Program Analyst Advisor

This Program Analyst / Business Operations Analyst will play a critical role in the organization by translating data into meaningful insights, drive decision making, automation, and process improvement, and uncover business opportunities. This role straddles both the Financial and Programmatic functions to manage and administer key business processes and drive insights across the program. To succeed in this position, you must be analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, have strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position will become the subject matter expert on various operational business processes and fulfill a key function as a liaison between all supporting players across the business processes to ensure compliance and effective/efficient program execution. The selected candidate will support the Program Director in leading the coordination and implementation of comprehensive processes, documentation, reporting, and organization effort; promoting continuous process improvement.

HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of contract programs.
Assists and Prepares documentation for customer approval to support personnel tasks.
Assist employees with preparing travel documents and filing expense reports, tracks travel costs and deployment requirements across schedules/timelines for program personnel
Monitors and reports performance against plans or requirements/compliance documents to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
Develops plans, processes, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.
Interface with process users, managers, directors, and other key stakeholders and respond to their operational questions and needs. Offer ideas and/or solutions to make systems, procedures, and workflows more productive and efficient.
Participates in special projects as required.
Monitor, analyze, and report on SLAs.
Reviews current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Assists with fulfilling and monitoring the business operations requirements for a program with numerous task orders and personnel in several locations, both stateside and overseas.
Must be able to distinguish between contractually allowable and unallowable expenses, auditing transactions and reports in multiple formats and systems and reconciling. Experience with Travel Regulations preferred.
Coordinates with Program Managers on creating requisitions for new and replacement positions billeted during contractual negotiations.
Responsible for reporting and data analysis on key business processes. Highlight trends and investigate underlying causes of any variances.
Assists in creating and updating standard operating procedures for the program.
Creates, processes, and monitors training activities to ensure program compliance and meet milestones / deadlines.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: SharePoint Experience and General Office administration task, along with KPIs, metrics, and data analysis skills
Security Clearance Level: active Top Secret and be able to obtain TS/SCI within 6 months
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must have advanced MS Office Suite knowledge to promptly provide analytical program data in an environment of quickly changing needs (i.e. excel).
Must have highly efficient organizational skills.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong business acumen and previous experience managing/analyzing and tracking forecasts and financial models
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Constructive problem-solving expertise
