Our work depends on a detail-oriented, self-starter, documentation writing Program Analyst Advisor joining our team and utilizing their DOD 5000 understanding and written and oral communication skills to proactively develop acquisition documentation for military medicine advance development products to support the acquisition timeline for the product to make is way to the Warfighter.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develop, edit, and/or maintain acquisition milestone documentation (e.g., Single Acquisition Management Plans [SAMPs], Test and Evaluation Master Plans [TEMPs], etc.), to include program briefings IAW applicable DoD 5000 series regulations to ensure successful decision reviews for medical products.Proactively engage with Product Managers and technical subject matter experts (e.g., Risk Management Framework, Logistics, Software Engineers, etc.) to gather information required for the acquisition documentation.Prepare and maintain project management integrated master schedules, Gantt charts, and/or action item lists for assigned products, based on input from the organization, outside consultants, and key staff.Develop and update schedules as well as assist in the providing input for Life Cycle Cost Estimates. Populate and maintain tracking of action items/taskers for specified product development programs according to DoD, Army, and USAMRDC policies and procedures. Monitor, coordinate, and report responses to external requests and tasks for information, ensuring responses are timely and accurate.Conduct market research, support analyses, review existing tech base programs, and recommend acquisition strategies to strengthen and engage medical requirements and/or medical capabilities in support of force health protection and provide information packages based on the results of these analyses. Participate in task forces and surveys, studies, and other investigations of areas of management operations to determine adequacy of medical equipment.Communicate with personnel at various echelons through the use of effective interpersonal and communication skills.Participate in various meetings both internally and externally to the organization.Participate in special projects, as required.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.Required Experience: 8+ years of work experience to include at least 2 years’ experience developing DOD 5000 acquisition documents.Preferred Experience: Experience engaging with software integrators to assist in developing acquisition documents, a plus.Required Technical Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS).Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with personnel at various echelons. Highly proactive self-starter to work both independently and in a team environment. Location: Hybrid (on-site 3 days a week at Ft.
