Program Analyst

HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Performs complex administrative, analytical and technical tasks in support of our USPS programs.
● Works closely with the Account Director and Financial Analysts as well as Program Managers, , Subcontracts Administrator, and Contracts Administrator to ensure activities are coordinated and completed in a timely manner.

● Identifies process improvements and automation opportunities and leads implementation,  assists with implementation and/or implements.

● Leads initiatives to implement improved reporting and monitoring capabilities

● Investigates and assesses potential solutions for process improvements and automations.

● Maintains existing VBA macros and documentation for automations.

● Maintains existing Tableau data visualizations and documentation

● Provides user support for Excel functions & formulas, VBA macros & Tableau data visualizations.

● Creates & maintains spreadsheets.

● Ensures compliance with GDIT Salesforce policies.

● Runs reconciliation of hours charged in customer timekeeping systems against GDIT timekeeping systems.
● Monthly & adhoc reporting activities.
● Creates & maintains documentation for procedures.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Expert Excel skills (functions, formulas, VBA, pivot tables). Proficient in creating & maintaining data visualizations using  Tableau. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), programming skills, relational database design, software version control and release, Microsoft Word.
● Required Skills and Abilities:,  Ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment. Strong communication skills. Good problem solving skills. Financial acumen. Self-direction, time management, organization.

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
