Responsibilities:

Pre-admission organization of patient data in preparation for their procedure. Preparing patients for their procedures by validation of health information, providing patient education and necessary prep (i.e. shave, scrub, IV insertion, medication administration, pre-procedural testing).  Phase 1 recovery of post-operative patient.  Phase 2 recovery and discharge of post-operative patient. Maintaining appropriate state of the unit by stocking, organizing, and cleaning care areas. *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. *Performs other duties as assigned.
