About the Role As a Professional Staff Nurse on our 6 West Acute Care unit, you’ll be a vital member of the care delivery team. You’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families, while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes. Key Responsibilities + Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and Relationship-Based Care model + Develop and implement individualized care plans + Educate patients and families throughout the care journey + Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve care quality and safety + Participate in shared governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice + Serve as a mentor and preceptor to students and new staff + Maintain a healthy work-life balance and model professional accountability Additional Qualifications & Requirements + Age-Specific CompetencyMust demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care based on the age of patients served.
