UPMC Shadyside, a three-time Magnet-designated hospital and renowned teaching hospital, is currently hiring a Graduate Nurse for their Medical/Surgical Urology unit, 6/7 Pavilion! Shadyside Hospital is a supportive and high-acuity level facility that will support and invest in your nursing career from day one. 

About the Position:

6 / 7 Pavilion is an 18-bed medical-surgical unit that exists on two floors of the hospital and provides care for surgical urology patients, post-plastic surgery procedures, and ear, nose, and throat. The variety of our patient population provides for a broad knowledge base of both medical and surgical patients. Most of our urological patients are diagnosed with renal, bladder, and/or prostate disease. We receive patients directly from the recovery room, the emergency room, and direct admissions. 6 / 7 Pavilion is a teaching unit, and our nurses work closely with interns, residents, and fellows. Nurses’ input is valued and respected in our unit.

Up to five and a half weeks of Paid Time Off annually, plus seven paid holidays each year. Monthly Loan Repayment Program: $20,000 over 3 years for eligible recent 2024 & 2025 graduates.
