Position Overview:As a Professional Staff Nurse, you are a Registered Nurse and a core member of the care delivery team. You are responsible for setting the standard for quality and excellence in nursing care. This role involves clinical leadership, communication, and partnership with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
You will lead with compassion, collaborate with physicians and team members, and serve patients and their families with dignity and skill.
Key Responsibilities:Build strong, collaborative relationships with patients, families, and colleagues through effective communication and accountability.
Apply adult learning principles to patient and family education, guiding them through treatment and care transitions.
Utilize the nursing process and Relationship-Based Care framework to assess, plan, and implement holistic care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to promote safe, high-quality care.
Actively engage in professional development, unit-based initiatives, and shared governance to improve the practice environment.
Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts, incorporating evidence-based practice to elevate clinical care.
Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new staff and students, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
