The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse and an essential member of the care delivery team. They set standards for quality care and are accountable for providing nursing services. This role is within the first ACT department to achieve licensure in Pennsylvania, and the WBH ACT Teams have been rated as “Exemplary” through annual third-party fidelity reviews.
In this position the nurse will manage patient care for a group of individuals and their families, using independent judgment and collaboration with healthcare providers. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing for a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life while providing comprehensive, community-based care to individuals with severe mental illness.
