Professional Services Technical Consultant
Role Overview: This role involves working directly with customers at their offices and NCRV offices. You will be responsible for identifying client business requirements and configuring NCRV software and hardware solutions to meet customer needs and drive business value. This position requires a blend of skills and responsibilities that instill confidence in our expertise in implementing NCRV solutions and rolling out restaurant technology initiatives for large restaurant brands.
Specific Responsibilities:
Be knowledgeable on assigned solutions to a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level and assist others with investigations.Provide initial and ongoing training and mentoring to new team members.Handle hardware configuration, integration testing, and troubleshooting.Create and execute testing checklists.Gather and document client requirements through in-person or virtual meetings and presentations.Develop and configure solutions to meet client needs.Test solutions jointly with client teams in preparation for deployment.Create internal and external training materials for personnel using the solution. ork with other areas of the organization and the client to deploy solutions to multiple locations (up to several thousand restaurants).Provide front-line feedback to product development on enhancement ideas and software issues.Act as a point of escalation to triage and isolate the cause of complex technical issues.Produce knowledge management documents to assist others in problem-solving.Proactively seek to learn NCRV products and diagnostic tools.Provide input and guidance to engineering on potential resolutions for product defects.Basic Qualifications:
3-10 years of experience in software and hardware implementation or a technology consulting environment.High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.Networking knowledge.Microsoft clients and servers systems knowledge.Windows scripting skills.Clear and concise verbal, written, and presentation skills.Technical aptitude and a consultative approach with existing and prospective customers.Ability to travel to client locations.High energy, self-starter who pays attention to deadlines and takes ownership of assignments and client issues.Excellent people skills and the ability to provide value to our clients.Proficiency in Italian (native level) and full proficiency in English.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the restaurant or larger hospitality food service industry.Experience in a hospitality or retail environment, either working in the industry or servicing customers within the industry.Previous experience working with a consulting organization.Knowledge and experience with restaurant Point of Sale systems.Experience implementing SaaS and on-premises solutions.Familiarity with microservice technology architecture.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
