Axis, proudly recognized as one of Canada’s Best Great Places to Work, is looking for a motivated and results-driven candidate to fill a co-op or intership opening in our Professional Services Group department as a Professional Services Intern. This role assists the Professional Services Team with support for pre-sales opportunities across the entire portfolio of Axis products, and is also responsible for maintaining the Axis Experience Centre (AEC), a technical demo centre for Axis products.
Ideal candidates must reside or be able to commute to Mississauga, Ontario. This job is in-office in-person, no remote.
Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales design and supportPrepare technical sales materialsDevelop system design recommendationsCoordinate on-site visits, surveys, proof of concept and trial installationsMaintain the various technologies in the Axis Experience CenterAct as a backup to other Axis Professional Services staff as neededPerforms other related duties as assignedTravel within assigned region up to 25% of timeHelp identify efficiencies and effective ways of work to streamline workflowsEssential Skills
Networking or related knowledge (TCP/IP, transport protocols, switches, infrastructure, troubleshooting, etc.)Mature, professional verbal and listening skillsStrong technical writing, public speaking, and presentation skillsSolid technical writing skills especially white paper, manuals, and instructionsResourceful and flexibleEducation and Experience
Must be enrolled in a secondary institution and qualified to work under a 4, 8, or 12-month internship or co-op programPhysical demands
