The Professional Services Engineer (PSE) position offers the opportunity to design and deploy Forescout product solutions in real-world customer environments.  The PSE will deploy, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Forescout platform solutions as well as provide on-the-job training to customers onsite and remotely.  This role will support our adoption services.Provide on-site and off-site Forescout professional services to customers including, product deployment, configuration, health checks, optimization, training, and troubleshootingAssist Sales with implementation plans and network designsCoordinate pre-installation calls and provide written post-deployment summariesContribute to the development of best practices, intellectual property, and training materialCollaborate with customer support, product management, R&D, marketing and sales regarding deployment techniques, feature requests, product issues and sentimentIdentify and recommend new customer service opportunities to Sales and/or customerStay abreast of product capabilities, configurations and integrations via training/lab work What You Bring To Forescout: Required skills:Hands-on technical experience and expertise with routing, switching, 802.1Q VLAN, VPN, WAN, RADIUS, and network security technologiesHands-on technical experience with network administrator and network security activitiesHands-on experience with the Forescout platform preferredWorking knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systemsWorking knowledge of industry security standards, procedures and technologiesDemonstrated excellent oral and written communications, including presentation skills for audiences of varying levels of technical understandingAbility to constructively handle and address customer concerns through explanation or management escalationAbility to travel domestically and internationally (must have a passport); must be within 45 minutes of a major US-based regional airport with travel up to 50%Experience in federal government environments preferredA self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitudeAbility to work independently in a mix of workplace environments including large enterprise, commercial, and military/government agency customersRequired experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience3+ years of technical professional services experience in a customer-facing roleExperience installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple technologiesStrong knowledge and experience working in a geographically distributed team-based engineering environmentExperience/certifications in multiple leading IT security, network, and IoT technologies preferredSecurity certification such as CISSP, SSCP, or GIAC preferred
