**Professional Security Officer – Full Time** _Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!!_ **Location:** Lehi, UT **Rate:** $21.50/HR At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. The ideal candidates we are seeking will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness. **What Your Day May Look Like:** + Writes reports, sends emails, and keeps up with day-to-day operations. + Responds to all alarms, disturbances and incidents that may occur. + Show and maintain proficiency with responding to medical incidents and CPR/AED. + Patrol interior and exterior of the premises. + Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions. + Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, employees and visitors. + Report all incidents, accidents and/or medical emergencies to Leadership. + Follows procedures to respond to emergencies and alarms, such as medical incident or bomb threats, or fire alarms or intrusion. **What We Offer:** + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability Insurance, EAP, Plus 401K Options. + Virtual Medical Appointments With Telemedicine. + Paid Time Off, Weekly Pay, Paid Training, & Free Uniforms. + Discounts On Childcare, Pet Daycare, Vehicles, Electronics, Cell Phone Plans, Travel & So Much More! **Position Requirements:** + 21 years of age or older. + High School Diploma or GED Required. + Standard computer / technology skills needed. + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. + Fluent in English. + Have reliable transportation. + Must have a neat, professional appearance. + Must have a friendly and professional demeanor and provides quality customer service. + Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations. + Must be able to successfully complete CPR, First Aid and AED training and certification. **Physical and Mental Functions:** + Stand or walk (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet). + Be able to climb stairs and ramps. + Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties. + Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds. + Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat. + Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments. **_All candidates must be willing to participate in our background check process._** See a different world.
