Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is looking for a dedicated and experiencedProfessional Counselor 5 to become a vital part of our behavioral health team. The role is responsible for providing direct-line supervision of subordinate licensed, master's degree-level social services staff, and/or other professional social services staff for a service delivery program. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) plus three years of counseling experience. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Supervises and coordinates work assignments, workflow, and duty activities of clinical staff who provide direct services to consumers while also evaluating the work performance of assigned staff. This includes conducting monthly individual and group supervisory meeting, case consultations, and make caseload adjustments. + Manages the referral, assessment, treatment, and group assignment for treatment programs as well as assisting with Medication Assisted Treatment Program (MAT). + Provides treatment services and manages a caseload while planning, prioritizing, and managing clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases. Actions include completing initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, ASIs, and all assigned tools per NEDHSA policy. + Attends in-service staff training and completes required trainings promptly as well as participates in community and marketing/networking events. + Serves as backup to treatment, medica, and support staff at NEDHSA's clinics and assists with developing and revising polices relating to best standard clinical practices. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National He alth Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans. + 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians. (Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
