Responsibilities
The Hard Service Engineer will be responsible for:
Site Operation Management (including vendor management)Monitoring operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and facility’s critical operationsAnalysing the operation of the various systems to determine the cause of any problem / malfunctions and take corrective action as requiredWorking with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contractEnsuring all site facilities operations, maintenance and management activities of the electrical, mechanical, chemical, fire protection systems and equipment, etc., are performed in a safe and efficient manner and comply with the client, JLL and governmental policies and requirementsEnergy management programs to assist the client to reduce cost and eliminate wasteManaging all vendors effectively and to carry out technical and safety audits/maintenance and repairs for all equipment as scheduledDeveloping engineering service delivery standards with the assistance from JLL’s EOS PlatformUnderstanding and adhering to the site’s Critical Environment Management proceduresWorking with Post FM and Helpdesk personnel to schedule equipment to be taken off line so that preventative maintenance can be performedProviding viable solutions for technical issues to the client at all timesImplementing the Planned Preventive Management Program for the siteProviding input for minor projects and coordinate with vendors from commencement to completion while working with the Programme DirectorAssisting the Digital Performance & Quality Lead in conducting compliance reviews as directedConducting site training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the Operations staff Administering the JLL 360 program for PPM on siteClient/Stakeholder ManagementManage hard service team member to deliver excellent customer service to meet client’s onsite expectationsManage the procedures to ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations and standards and client expectationsFinance and Commercial ManagementManaging site’s financial operations are meeting targets and control requirementsManaging and monitor financial processes to ensure account payable procedures are always followedEnsuring that all contracts are professionally delivered at the right cost and in line with the JLL Code of EthicsHealth and Safety ManagementManaging in review of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) prior to works being under-taken on siteMaking sure that site is always in safe condition and raising any issues relatedCore Competencies
The Hard Service Engineer will demonstrate the following competencies:
Excellent technical troubleshooting knowledge and skillsSpecial knowledge and skills including exposure to HVAC, mechanical, electrical and fire systemsBe familiar with the Scope of Work (SOW) and assist Post Facilities Manager in the delivery of Client Satisfaction, Uninterrupted site operation and continuously improving services under FCDO policiesProficient in MS Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPointFluent English and JapaneseCommunicate effectively orally and in writingTeam player, motivate and engage with colleaguesClient focus & relationship managementProblem solving and strategic thinking skillsSecurity clearanceExperience
University degree or professional qualification in engineering/facilities managementMinimum of four (4) years of experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related fieldExperience in incident managing and reportingExperience in vendor management and procurementExperience in or capability of working in a diplomatic environmentLocation:
