**Job Summary:**
The Productivity & Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for identifying and driving productivity improvements within the plant. This role supports the Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R), Continuous Improvement, EHS, and Quality programs, leading daily operations meetings and managing key performance indicators (KPIs). Acting as the main point of contact for operational efficiency and performance topics, this specialist works closely with both plant staff and operational personnel to foster a culture of ongoing improvement.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Identify areas for improvement related to plant throughput, capacity and utilization, headcount optimization, unplanned downtime, changeover times, and overall productivity in daily operations.
+ Support EHS, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Factory Performance & Reliability standards compliance.
+ Track daily plant performance indicators; report, consolidate, and publish KPIs.
+ Lead daily meetings, facilitate conversations regarding performance and improvement projects, and provide follow-up on ongoing initiatives.
+ Develop and implement plans to reduce unplanned downtime, optimize changeover times, and enhance efficiency across production lines.
+ Calculate and analyze capacity/utilization scenarios, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions.
+ Maintain up-to-date rate routings in SAP and Opera; ensure the integrity of Opera’s database.
+ Support saving projects (e.g., material losses, headcount, overtime, man-hour per ton) and provide training related to productivity improvements.
+ Facilitate all information related to Autonomous Maintenance Groups and maintain strong relationships with operational staff.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields).
+ 1 year of experience in manufacturing and plant operations.
+ Intermediate English proficiency.
+ Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience interacting with operational personnel.
+ Experience leading improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
+ Hands-on experience with SAP and Opera platforms.
+ Familiarity with Autonomous Maintenance concepts.
+ Proven track record of fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Ability to train and motivate others to drive change and achieve targets.
