We have an immediate opening for a Production Operations Associate at our aerospace location in Phoenix, AZ. The primary focus of this role is to oversee flow of production hardware through shop floor activities & various departments and provide status to the cross functional teams.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Attend department meetings, manage actions and conduct follow-up with ownersWork with internal customers such as engineering, Quality, shop floor, shipping and receiving, and other departments.Act as liaison between program and other departments supporting operations.Aid the operations lead, as the operations focal on the floor in helping to prioritize hardwareCoordinate with shop floor technicians and supervisors to help expedite hardware through to shippingMay need to provide weekend support for items that require quick customer turnaroundCreate daily Work in Progress and shipping reportsProvide Line of Balance to program managers showing estimated ship datesWork Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
Minimum AS degree with 3+ years of production support experience or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are required Excel level requirements include: creation of pivot tables-simple formulas-charts-graphs-line of balancesExperience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferredStrong communication, team work, self-motivation, and organizational skillsDue to the nature of the work, you must be a US CitizenPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pmAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Exempt Salary Range: $60K - $65K DOE
