Production Worker/ Team Lead


Reports To:  Production Supervisor

 

Summary: This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily team operations while actively participating in production tasks. The Team Lead will guide team members, coordinate workflow, and ensure the efficient production, inspection, and packaging of various products within the manufacturing facility. Training will be provided.

 Job Duties

Operate machines and assist other workers with various physical labour tasksDemonstrate initiative and teamwork in daily work activities to provide assistance wherever neededEffectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors using emails and reports. Ensure tasks are completed fully and accurately as requestedCheck condition of all machinery prior to operation and notify maintenance of any issuesSort, pack, crate and package materials and products Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsOther duties as assigned

 Team Lead

Oversee and allocate work to the Production Labourer to ensure work is completed and meets production workflow; monitor daily production activities to ensure deliverables are met and running on timeYield work orders in AX manufacturing operating systemReview the raw materials on the floor to ensure appropriate levels for productionRequest additional materials as needed to ensure continuous operations in areaPromotes safe working practices.Oversees and ensure that workplace health and safety guidelines are adheredTroubleshooting, reporting and overseeing equipment repairs (in the Production Assembly area)

 

Requirements

Accuracy in following instructions and eager to learnMust be physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basisEfficient job task planning and organizingManual dexterityAttention to detailAbility to focus on tasks to completion and to work well with minimal supervisionCapable of speaking, reading, and writing in English

 Work Conditions

Plant setting, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm; hours may be adjusted according to business needs ; occasional overtime may be requiredFast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, may be on your feet for long periods
