Production Worker

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:45AM-2:00PM

Location: Aldergrove, BC

Pay: $21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team in the exterior bulk departments, with occasional interior tasks. This role involves loading, packaging, and palletizing components. The position requires a keen eye for detail and physical stamina for lifting and organizing product components and completed products for assembly and shipment.

Important: Reliable Transportation is required for this position.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize product components for assembly, including frames and windows.Read and understand tickets to determine needed components.Lift materials and maintain the pace of the production line.Collect components, add them to the line, and complete paperwork for damaged products.Measure materials using a measuring tape accurately.Engage in physical work, including bending and reaching.Palletize complete doors from production, including lifting products and building pallets with a nail gun and saws.Wrap and package doors using custom door boxes.Print labels for each door and prepare door stacks for shipping.Perform quality checks to ensure no damage and correct components are used.Organize orders for a safe and aesthetically pleasing pallet per order.Assemble pallets for safe transport.Essential Skills1+ years' experience in production/manufacturing or general labor.Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.Experience with saws or hand and power tools, or willingness to be trained.Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/32”.Reliable transportation, as transit is not accessible to the job site.Additional Skills & QualificationsCNC machine operating experience.Knowledge of equipment and basic troubleshooting abilities.Mechanically inclined.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, clean facility with approximately 80-100 employees, including 60 in assembly and production roles. The dress code includes long pants, long sleeve shirts, and safety gear such as ear plugs, safety glasses, and vests, all provided. Be part of a custom wood manufacturing facility moving 150-300 products a day.
