**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** This role involves working as a Production Worker at a chemical manufacturing and distribution plant. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, staging shipments, moving products with a sit-down forklift, correctly labeling products, and performing some chemical filling tasks. The facility manufactures chemicals used in industrial, food, and pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities may also include filling totes, cleaning and relabeling them, completing manual fills, and ensuring proper shipment staging. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift + Stage products for shipment + Correctly label and relabel products + Perform chemical filling tasks + Handle totes by cleaning, scraping labels, and relabeling + Complete manual fills as needed + Follow GMP regulations and safety protocols **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated + 3+ years of forklift experience + Ability to read a tape measure + Strong ability to follow instructions and take orders + Safety-oriented mindset **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with staging, bagging, tagging, and chemical handling + Proficiency in labeling, shipping, and material handling **Why Work Here?** Employees are offered competitive pay rates and annual raises. The work environment is non-union and involves handling chemicals, with protective gear provided for safety. The atmosphere may have a chemical smell, such as ammonia or chlorine. The role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm, transitioning to a 9am start time post-training. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.12 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
