Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics! **Essential Functions:** + Perform all operations necessary for the testing of the product. + Perform commercial test including set-up and run test equipment on various pumps, valves, motors, etc. per test procedures. + Work with Engineering on the set-up of new production pumps and assist as assigned on testing of development units. + Enter necessary data into electronic measuring equipment. + Make hoses as necessary. + Advise supervision of any measuring equipment in need of calibration + Perform minor deburrs work as required. + Clean and move parts as necessary. + Pass an annual eye exam. + Responsible for product verification and process control including using measuring devices. + Keep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes. + Rotate to different workstations within the cell. + Perform required rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance per Appendix A, and appropriate safety checks in the cell. + Document all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures. + Inspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step in the cell. + Complete all required paperwork. + Ensure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked before movement. + Work with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required. + Complete documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR’s, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets. + Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor. Utilize the computer to access various databases. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma; Prior test experience preferred. + **_Mechanical Knowledge or Machining experience in auto body or machine shop highly preferred._** + **_Experience with micrometers, calipers and height gauges are a plus_** + Must have basic reading and writing skills + Requires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages. + Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible + Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, test procedures, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions; Adequate mechanical aptitude. + **Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.
