We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our Mission Components Value Stream team, supporting the production floor in the Cables area. In this dynamic and visible role, you will leverage your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills to ensure the seamless execution of test processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring rigorous testing processes and delivering high-quality, reliable products that meet the standards and expectations of our end customers. **What You Will Do** + Provide test engineering support in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment. + Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and test documentation to set up and troubleshoot test sequences. + Work diligently with union technicians on a daily basis throughout the test process. + Interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding most urgent immediate needs in test. + Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures to ensure product integrity and reliability. + Analyze test data and metrics to identify trends, improve test processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and customer requirements throughout the testing process. + Interact with the maintenance/test department to keep test stations fully functional to maximize up time. + Develop/update factory test procedures as needed. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. + 1 year of manufacturing test experience (as a technician or engineer). + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Prior experience with Automated Wire Test platforms (DIT-MCO or equivalent). + Demonstrated ability to interpret failing test data and navigate schematic diagrams to diagnose fault modes. + Experience preparing and executing factory test procedures. + Proficiency in using statistical tools and techniques to analyze test data. + Exceptional attention to detail to identify and document any anomalies or inconsistencies in the cable test process. + Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Familiarity with Common PDM, using it to look up assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, and test requirement specifications. + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently. + Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements that will require working overtime shifts to support schedule as needed. **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
