**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** Section 1 - Job Summary Position Title: Production Technician II Department – Manufacturing Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor Position Purpose: The Production Technician II performs all activities involved in the manufacture of medical devices under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor including but not limited to; material placement, product assembly, inspection and packaging. The Production Technician II will also be responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance on production equipment as well as troubleshooting when necessary. Principal Responsibilities: • Operates basic production equipment safely and efficiently • Performs basic preventative maintenance on production equipment • Troubleshoots basic issues with production equipment • Assembles product according to specifications provided • Performs quality checks according to specifications provided • Packages product into peel pouches or blisters using heat sealers • Labels product with permanent markers • Utilizes computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word • Maintains good housekeeping practices on the production floor • Loads and unloads product from ovens • Takes pictures to document process steps Knowledge & Skills Required: • Experience in a GMP/ISO environment preferred • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs • Ability to read, write and speak English • Basic knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles • On-the-job training experience required Required Skills Optional Skills . **Primary Work Location** SGP Tuas - Tuas Plant **Additional Locations** **Work Shift** Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
