Job Overview:

Under direction of facility management, the Production Technician will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in the production facility. The Production Technician will be responsible for operating a steam-methane reforming (SMR) facility while meeting all safety, environmental, corporate, efficiency and production requirements.

Responsibilities:

Obtain knowledge required to operate and troubleshoot the various types of equipment associated with Steam Methane Reformers.Top fired heaterReactorsHigh pressure steam systemPressure swing adsorption unit.Pumps and compressorsAnalytical equipmentDrums and knockout potsCooling water systemInstrument air system.Flare operations.H2 Product deliveryMonitor the Process. This includes making rounds, completing reading sheets, water sampling and ensuring environmental permit limit and process limits are adhered to.Learn how to identify hazards, safe out equipment, and write safe work permits.Learn the importance of Housekeeping.Field Qualify at one of the SMR Facilities.
