**Job Overview:**
The Production Tech provides solutions to problems in the Production discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Perform regular maintenance and inspections on production equipment, ensure optimal functionality, and minimize downtime.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and utilize industry-standard tools and techniques.
+ Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop and implement effective preventive maintenance plans.
+ Assist in coordinating and executing production activities, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
+ Monitor equipment performance, collect data, and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
+ Propose and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members.
+ Ensure compliance with company and industry-specific health, safety, and environmental standards.
+ Participate in safety drills, inspections, and incident investigations, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Support Project Team with system setup, functional reporting, fabrication sequence, path of construction review, constructability on a discipline level, etc.
+ Publish and retrieve Engineering project data into Smart Construction.
+ Review engineering data for data mapping, attributes management, and report issues.
+ Manage interfaces with external systems such as project schedules, material management, document management, commissioning, etc.
+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
+ Support the Fabrication Bid coordination efforts with the review of 3D model attributes and mapping.
+ Ensure necessary documentation and compliance with procedural requirements throughout the project phases.
+ Conduct user training and maintain user training materials.
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Diploma in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role within the EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) industry.
+ Over three-five (3-5) years in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas / Marine / Similar Fabrication / Construction industry as fabrication and construction management systems admin.
+ Familiar with offshore / onshore EPCI project fabrication and construction process (fabrication, installation, painting, and pre-commissioning).
+ Familiar with 3D engineering design authoring tool data management and interface files (SPF, SPC, S3D, PDMS, E3D, Tekla, Spoolgen).
+ Basic knowledge and understanding of material specifications for offshore/onshore.
+ Basic knowledge in both transactional, and business intelligence reports including design, development, and distribution (SSRS, PowerBI, Telerik).
+ Basic knowledge in MS Office tools, MS Access, VBA Macros, Power Query, & Power Automate.
+ Proficient in performing mechanical troubleshooting and utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
+ Sound knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
+ Familiarity with industry-specific equipment and machinery used in the EPCI sector.
+ Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret production data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
+ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement corrective measures.
+ Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
+ Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with Cross-functional Teams.
+ Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
