Position Summary:
Reporting to the Business Unit Supervisor, the Team Leader for the Safety, Quality, Output of the assigned area on a day to day basis, whilst upholding Magna’s standards and driving continuous Improvement.
Role Responsibilities:
This role entails but is not limited to: -
Safety promotion of employees and processes – PPE Auditing, LOTO, COSHHJob ability – quality sign off and building of competence and confidence of technical skillsLeading Teams and delivering Tier 1 daily meetings, supporting escalation when requiredProblem solving and Kaizen – seeking root cause for downtime or quality issues using CI toolsDeliver the Autonomous Maintenance scheduleHuman Relations – building and developing a high performing Team addressing T&A issues, Return to Work and recognition of high performing individualsAble to lead investigations, resolve grievances and monitor absenteeism and take appropriate action where neededPromote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirementsPersonal Attributes:
